After less than nine months, work finisched this morning at Veronafiere on the new Hall 1 - a facility measuring 5 thousand square metres, including 1,600 sq.m. of below-ground services and 2 thousand square metres of photovoltaic panes - installed on the site of the old "pavilion" in the Exhibition Centre.
The project involved an entirely self-financed investment of more than 7 million euro and was completed as planned in advance of the 43rd edition of Vinitaly, scheduled next 2-6 April.
The solar energy plant will generate, once fully operative, peak power of about 100KW/hour - equivalent to the annual power requirement of 33 apartments.
The Hall was also equipped with advanced water, electrical, telephone, conditioning,
video-surveillance, data transmission and fire-prevention services.
